I look at the beautiful sky and tell myself that I have never seen anything more beautiful. I sit on the shore of the lake and watch my friends frolic in the water, even though it is already cold. The end of summer is quietly announcing itself.
I turn to the other side and suddenly another world grows in front of me – with palm trees, fine sand and sand walls that a little boy and his father are building. I lean closer and strange creatures are moving around in their castle, carrying something from the mansion… they look like tiny eggs. Dreams intertwine and worlds change before my eyes.

These smooth transitions between reality and dream symbolize the moments that the exhibition captures. These are moments that are inconspicuous and yet powerful. The paintings reflect reflections on life, death, motherhood and friendship. The paintings become an invitation to stop, to realize the transience and depth of everyday moments.
