Adéla Vávrová, known as Adelheid, presents a visual ensemble entitled FIELD OF DAYS as part of her new exhibition.

Building on her previous exploration of figurative painting and sometimes dreamlike depictions of landscapes close to her, Adelheid has developed a distinctive creative process. Her work unfolds as an ascending spiral, where the canvases interact with lived experiences in a continuous colorful dialogue. This approach allows her to always explore emerging stimuli very thoroughly and intimately and then communicate her own view of the world through painting.

The central motifs and main narrators of this visual story are two key figures, the ROCK and the SUNFLOWER.

The ROCK symbolizes the masculine principle - courage, protection, generosity and new beginnings. This archetypal figure, often associated with Greek gods and ancient Slavic traditions, embodies vitality and renewal. His vibrant costume and colors evoke the radiant energy of the sun.

SUNFLOWER, with its dynamic relationship to sunlight, represents a natural connection to growth and transformation. Each petal is the wisdom of life. As a sunflower seeks strength and protection from the sun, it eventually reaches full bloom and at that moment settles into a position it no longer changes. It becomes a symbol of fulfillment.

Like a field of sunflowers - each unique, yet part of a cohesive whole - this exhibition invites viewers to experience a series of individual visual "chapters" that together form a unified artistic story.

FIELD OF DAYS is a reflection of the artist's past experiences and her reactions to them, offering the viewer an intimate look at her creative journey.
