In Vitro – a surreal probe into intimate vulnerability
Adéla Vávrová’s exhibition moves on the edge between the intimacy of the body and laboratory abstraction. Fragmentary paintings, collages and videos open up the theme of fragility, expectation and uncertainty and develop as works in series.
The paintings oscillate between control and its disruption, between care and destruction. In painterly layered photographs, the author explores the fragility of the body and an experience that cannot be fully controlled. This creates a space where vulnerability and hope meet without clear answers.
